1. Be respectful
Disagree, compete and joke — but treat people as people. Attacking someone rather than their answer, or making the app unpleasant for others, is not allowed.
2. No harassment or bullying
- No targeted insults, mockery of appearance, ability or intelligence, or degrading content about a person.
- No pile-ons, brigading or encouraging others to attack someone.
- No unwanted sexual comments, advances or repeated unwanted contact.
- No sexual harassment of any kind, including in comments and duel invitations.
3. No hate
Nothing that attacks, dehumanises or promotes hatred against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, disability, disease, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or immigration status. This includes hateful slurs, symbols and "jokes" built on those attacks.
4. No threats or violence
No threats of violence, wishes of harm, incitement, glorification of violent acts or terrorism, or graphic gore posted for shock value.
5. No sexual exploitation
No pornography, sexually explicit content, sexual services, or non-consensual intimate imagery. Do not upload intimate content of anyone without their explicit consent.
6. Zero tolerance: no sexual content involving minors
Any content that sexualises, exploits or endangers a minor is removed immediately, the account is permanently banned, and we report it to the appropriate authorities. Do not post it, do not link to it, do not solicit it. Report it instantly at support@vymeros.com with the subject "URGENT — child safety".
7. No dangerous challenges
Mind Spark is built on challenges, so this matters more here than almost anywhere. Never create or take part in a challenge that risks injury — choking, burning, ingestion, asphyxiation, extreme fasting, stunts in traffic, dangerous heights, or anything that would need a hospital if it went wrong.
8. No self-harm or suicide encouragement
Do not encourage, instruct, romanticise or normalise suicide, self-injury or disordered eating. If you are struggling, contact your local emergency service; in Canada and the US you can call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
9. No illegal activity
No content that commits, plans, promotes or facilitates crime — including drugs, weapons, trafficking, stolen goods, counterfeit products or hacking services.
10. No scams or fraud
- No fake giveaways, prize claims or 'guaranteed points' offers.
- No investment, crypto, forex or money-flipping schemes.
- No phishing for logins, codes or payment details.
- No requests for money in exchange for follows, likes or leaderboard positions.
11. No spam
No bulk or repetitive posting, engagement farming, bots, automation, follow/unfollow cycles, mass unsolicited invitations, or comment sections filled with links. Do not manipulate points, streaks, votes, duels or leaderboards.
12. No impersonation
Do not pretend to be another person, creator, brand or Mind Spark staff, and do not use someone else's photos or name to make people believe your account is theirs. Clearly labelled fan and parody accounts are fine.
13. No doxxing or private information
Do not publish someone's home address, phone number, email, ID documents, financial details, workplace, school, exact location, or private conversations without consent. Do not post photos or videos of people in private settings without permission.
14. No copyright infringement
Only upload media you created or are licensed to use — including images, video clips, music, sound effects and puzzle designs. Credit does not replace permission. Repeat infringers lose their accounts. See Copyright & Intellectual Property.
15. No malicious links
No malware, phishing pages, deceptive redirects, fake app downloads, or links that harvest data. Links must go where they say they go.
Report
Every reel, video, photo, challenge, comment, community post and profile has a ⋯ menu with a Report option. Choose the reason that fits — harassment, hate, sexual content, child safety, violence, dangerous activity, scam, spam, impersonation, copyright, privacy violation or other — and add detail. Reports are private: the person you report is never told who reported them. Reports go straight into our moderation queue.
Block
Open any profile and choose Block. Once blocked, that person's challenges, reels, posts and comments are hidden from your feeds, and they cannot follow you, comment on your content or invite you to duels. You can review or undo blocks any time in Profile → Settings → Privacy & Safety → Blocked Users. Blocking is separate from reporting — do both if the behaviour breaks these rules.
What happens when rules are broken
- First or minor breach: content removal, reduced distribution or a warning.
- Repeat breaches: feature restrictions (posting, commenting, uploading) or temporary suspension.
- Severe breaches: immediate permanent ban and, where required, a report to authorities.
- Appeals: email support@vymeros.com from your account address and we will re-review.
