Submitting a takedown notice
Send your notice to support@vymeros.com with the subject "Copyright notice". To be actionable under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act, include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed.
- The direct link to the challenge, reel, image or comment you want removed.
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
Canadian rights holders may also send a notice under the Notice-and-Notice regime of the Copyright Act (Canada) to the same address; we will forward eligible notices to the user.
What we do
When we receive a complete notice we review it, remove or disable access to the identified content where appropriate, and notify the user who posted it, including a copy of the notice.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to support@vymeros.com including:
- Your signature, name, address, telephone number and email.
- Identification of the removed content and where it appeared.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification.
- Consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court and to accept service from the complaining party.
We may restore the content if the complaining party does not file a court action within the period allowed by law.
Repeat infringers
Accounts that receive repeated valid copyright notices are restricted and may be terminated.
Misuse
Knowingly submitting a false notice or counter-notice can carry legal liability. Please consider fair use / fair dealing before filing.
